What CIPLACTIN is used for?
It is used to treat,
- Perennial and seasonal allergic rhinitis
- Vasomotor rhinitis
- Allergic conjunctivitis due to inhalant allergens and foods
- Angioedema
- Amelioration of allergic reactions to blood or plasma
- Cold urticaria
- Dermatographism
Warning & Precautions
Talk to Doctor
- Are allergic (hypersensitive) to Cyproheptadine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
- Have a history of bronchial asthma
- Have intraocular pressure
- Have hyperthyroidism
- Have cardiovascular disease
- Have hypertension
Pregnancy & Breast Feeding
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
Children & Adolescents
CIPLACTIN is recommended in children. Consult your doctor before giving this medicine to your child
Interactions
Tell your doctor if you are taking:
- MAO inhibitors
- Hypnotics, sedatives, tranquilizers, antianxiety agents
Directions & For Use
- Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
- Shake well before use
If you take more CIPLACTIN
- If you take more of this medicine, tell your doctor or go to nearest hospital
If you forget to take CIPLACTIN
- If you forget to take a dose, take it after food as soon as you remember, but if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue as usual
- Do not use a double dose to make up for a missed dose
If you stop taking CIPLACTIN
- Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor tells you to do so

- Allergic reaction marked by rash, hives, itching, red, swollen, blistered, wheezing, tightness in the chest or throat, trouble breathing, swallowing, or talking, unusual hoarseness, or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat
- Worsening of liver problems
- Fast heart beats
- Trouble passing urine
- Change in balance
- Hallucinations
- Mood changes
- Seizures (fits)
- Fever or chills
- Not able to sleep
- Any unexplained bruising or bleeding
- A burning, numbness or tingling feeling
- Change in eyesight
- Ringing in ears
- Sweating a lot

- Upset stomach or throwing up
- Belly pain
- Dry mouth
- Dry nose
- Stuffy nose
